God saw we were getting tired,
and the cure was not to be.
So he put his arms around us,
and whispered "Come with me".
With tearful hearts we watched them,
slowly start to fade away.
Although we loved them dearly,
we could not make them stay.
Some golden hearts stopped beating,
hard working hands to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
he only takes the best.
